Hair restoration transplant is an extensive and complicated process. It consists of several stages and processes that require accuracy and flawless technique. Specialized tools are also important since some parts of the procedure are impossible to accomplish using traditional methods. The hair cells and elements being transferred and utilized are very small and minute. The hair follicles are less than one centimeter in diameter which makes it very hard to handle. Different methods are available which can be used to transplant the hair follicles. The surgeon performing the operation should find the best way to transfer hair elements to attain the preferred hair volume.

The first part of hair transplant includes evaluation and examination. The physician should perform a meticulous examination in find out the cause of the problem. Laboratory tests can be done to check for any deficiencies. If there is a chemical imbalance in the body which led to hair loss, it must be dealt with prior to the procedure. This is necessary in order to assure long term results. Different drugs, medications and chemical substances can be bought in the market to solve the problem. A good example would be the use of synthetic hormones. Men who have dysfunctional prostate are unable to secrete testosterone which results to inactivation of the hair follicles. The consumer can inject synthetic testorerone for maintenance of the hair follicles transplanted.

The second part of the transplant is the actual transfer and implantation of the hair strands and follicles. The use of computer assisted machine would allow the surgeon to accurately deposit the hair elements in the scalp. The hair roots and follicles should be placed exactly at the dermal area of the scalp. This is necessary since all the nutrients, oxygen and other requirements of the hair elements can only be found at the dermis. The use of a surgical computer allows doctors to accurately perform the procedure. It can scan the scalp to locate the dermis properly. The surgical arm of the machine can be guided while depositing the hair elements. This would assure consumers of long-term results.

Hair restoration transplant today is very effective and reliable in providing consumers the treatment they need. Hair loss can be solved through the transplant procedure.
