Curanail is one of the best prescription products for nail fungus infections that is now available to buy over the counter. Curanail cures different types of fungi that can cause nail infections and other related conditions.

The fungus grows on the nail bed, spreads and gradually separates the nail plate from the nail bed. With time the skin around the nail becomes swollen as the fungi slowly creep into the skin. In fact, most common dermatological problems like Tinea Corporis or ring worm, jock itch, psoriasis, are caused by the same fungus that causes infection in a toenail.

The factors that can increase the risk of nail infections are:

Nail infections are more common in men and women who live in hot or humid temperatures. Fungi grow easily in warm, damp environments.

Fingernail infections could possibly occur following a toenail infection that has become established. The fungus will probably spread to a finger if you scratch your itchy toes and toenail.

A nail that has fairly recently been injured is also more likely to become infected.

Smoking also increases the risk of developing a nail infection.
Those aged less than 18 years.

As a precaution curanail should not used by pregnant or nursing mothers.

Patients with underlying conditions can make them more susceptible to fungal nail infections. Examples are peripheral circulatory disorders, diabetes or a compromised immune system.

Other factors are use of fake nails and nail polish, nailing damage, constant nail biting, and sweaty feet.

Curanail has the ability to destroy different types of fungi that can cause nail infections and related problems amongst human beings. The best part about curanail treatment is that it not only destroys the infection, but long term use of this product also prevents the occurrence of these infections. Many individuals have reported that they did not experience future episodes of nail infection after resorting to curanail treatment. This is one reason why it has been a hit amongst the masses.

The active ingredient, Amorolfine, stops the reproduction of fungi and yeast by destroying their cell membranes. Fungi and yeast naturally produce a substance called ergosterol, which is an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This prevention of production of ergosterol disrupts the cell membrane from multiplying and reproducing.

Curanail 5% Nail Lacquer should be applied once weekly. It is very important to continue using Curanail until the infection has cleared and healthy nails have grown back fully. This usually takes around 6 months for finger nails between 9 to 12 months for toe nails.

You should review treatment every three months. If there is no sign of improvement, consult your GP or Pharmacist.

The last and most important question is that does Curanail Cause Side Effects?

Any chemically produced medication can cause health issues, Curanail is no different. Some users have experienced a slight burning sensation around the skin of the infected nail. Side effects, by and large are few, not serious and uncommon. Avoid contact with the eyes, ears or mucous membranes.

Maintenance of proper hygiene is probably the best remedial step to ensure fungus free toenails.
