Cats by nature are hunters despite being tamed. This is probably the reason why they love playing with certain toys. Cat toys bring out those hunting skills from pet feline. When we see cats playing, they are actually mocking hunting games with their toys. Curiosity is cats' nature and therefore toys are something for them to explore. The more interactive the toys, the better it is for cats to inquisitive them.
Cats simply love interactive toys. Anything that is jaunty or can be pounced on would make great cat toys. Cats' eyes will easily notice anything that is moving. Even the least movement will catch the cats' attention and will incite them to pounce on it. Similar to their natural habitat, cats will prefer something that is smaller than they are to play with. Although, small toys would make a great choice, ensuring that the toys are not too small to be swallowed is logical. Cat toys that can be swallowed could bring serious harm to the cats.
One can find plenty of toys in cat toys store throughout Australia, and getting several varieties would certainly keep the cat interested. With different toys, one will simply have more options to provide the kitty something new to play with from time to time. Cats too can get bored when playing with one type of toy; hence, by providing more options, cats will certainly be kept interested.
As a caring and liable owner, it is vital to let the pet cat have some good set of toys. We all know that pet felines do not get much exercise as their outdoor relatives do. Therefore, some form of play activity is essential to keep them healthy. This indoor playtime with the toys can keep the cats' mind occupied and could prevent anxiety created by boredom.
Inexpensive toys like wicker ball or loofah toys would make a great plaything for pet felines. Securing one end of the loofah toy with a string and gently twitching it will certainly draw the attention of even the laziest cats. Such toys can even be hung on a doorknob or at the end of the bed so that the cat will keep herself occupied.
Wicker ball, on the other hand, would surely fuel the curiosity of the pet cats. Throw the wicker ball or let the cat herself play around with it or pounce on it. Such balls will not only provide entertainment to the cat, but to the cat owner watching them as well.
