When most people think about Las Vegas the image of casinos will automatically enter their minds. For some people this will be the only reason that they will want to travel to the area, but is there anything else available in the city? Here are some unusual things that you can do in during your vacation.

If you want something really different then why not try some indoor skydiving? This is probably not the first thing that will spring to your mind when planning your trip, but this is something that will really get your heart racing. The best thing is that you won't even have to get in a plane; even those who are afraid of heights can get a thrill with this activity. This is Americas first indoor simulated skydive and it is really worth checking out.

If you are not queasy then you might consider visiting the Bodies exhibition at the Luxor Hotel. This is not for anyone who gets squeamish because on display are 260 human body organs. If you want to see what your insides look like then you will want to see this exhibition. It is probably best not to eat directly before your visit.

If you like roller coasters then you are in for a treat in Las Vegas because this is the home to some of the best ones in the world. Speed at the Sahara casino will send your head reeling as you travel at 70 miles an hour and do the loop the loop; never has so much fear been packed into such a short time. Desperado is the world's tallest, longest and fastest roller coaster and if this doesn't scare you then nothing will. At top speed you will be travelling at 80 miles an hour. The X-scream is built on top of the stratosphere tower and this is one ride that is going to have you quaking. You are 886 feet above the ground as your shot out on a beam.

The Liberace Museum is devoted to all things connected to this flamboyant star. Get to see the pianos, the jewelry, and the candelabras.

If you like the paranormal then when not check out the haunted Vegas tour. Here you will visit the sites of murders and suicides and visit those places where ghost are claimed to have appeared previously. If you don't see a ghost on the trip you will also be invited to a seance where you will have one last chance to get in touch with the other side.
The Silverton Hotel offers visitors the change to see an underwater fish feeding show. You will get to see marine biologist feed these underwater marvels and it is a great way to spend an hour or two.

As you can see there is no end of possible alternatives to gambling available in Las Vegas. If you have just lost a big chuck of money or want to celebrate your win then why not try one of these places out. It could be the highlight of your holiday.
