Vietnam holidays can offer an exciting experience. Vietnam is located Southeast Asia. With 58 provinces, Vietnam has many tourist attractions. The best time to visit Vietnam is from May to November. November through April is the monsoon season.
In the capital city of Hanoi, you can visit Hoan Kiem Lake, where many citizens come every morning to exercise and start their day. Located right in the middle of the city park, it is a great place for people watching.
Hanoi is incredibly gorgeous, filled with natural monuments built during the French Colonial era. During the 1900s, Vietnam was still under the French rule, so the Grand Opera House and Presidential Hotel were built to serve noble leaders. Nowadays, they are open to tourists and visitor all over the world. The Japanese covered bridge in Hoi An is its emblem and best known monument.
A good place to start travels would be the largest place, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Ho Chi Minh City is growing at a rapid pace. The number of motorists is increasing ever constantly and new buildings are springing up everywhere.
Tourists looking for Vietnam holidays revolving around mountain views should make the trip to Sapa, Vietnam. This breath-taking resort is located in the mountain area next to the Chinese and Laotian borders. This area was called the Tonkinese Alps by the French, and was a favorite escape from the heat of the lower elevations in Vietnam. However, bring plenty of sunscreen and sunglasses.
Remodelled in the early half of the 1900's the temple still retains historical features dating back before that time; such as the tombs of honoured monks which fill the outside garden. A trip to The War Remnants Museum brings one face to face with the country's turbulent past, and lets you experience history from the Vietnamese perspective. A trip to The Reunification Palace lets you stand in the place where a divided Vietnam became one country again. Today, you can buy lighters made from war artefacts and shoot AK-47 machine guns at a nearby shooting range.
Once you get tired of the hustle and bustle of the big city, then it is the perfect time to go west and move your Vietnam holidays towards the green fields and villages of the Mekong Delta. There is so much to do and see in this region, and there is also the nearby Phu Quoc Island. It has some of the cleanest and most beautiful white sand beaches that you will ever see.
I am mad about travel and have so far been to over thirty countries in the world and my best trip so far was my holiday Vietnam
